Over the past couple weeks, I have been reading a book aloud with the kids called One Degree of Freedom. One of the homeschool moms in the little group I am in spent a few years in Romania and knows the author of this book. To say it has been eye opening is an understatement. As I read through the book with my kids, each day we talked about the freedoms that were at stake in Romania at that time, the freedoms that we enjoy that they did not have, etc. Things like:
