Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 3/6/23
These past few weeks have been so busy for our family. Three weekends in a row we were gone to basketball tournaments, plus we are still battling sickness that keeps making its rounds in our family. No fun! Thankfully our kids were well enough to play all their games, and now we are ready for a break and having time to rest and get better.
I’m sorry that I have not had time to get a newsletter out the past few weeks either. All my energy was put into my kids and keeping our home running during this busy time. I simply had no time or energy left! I have continued to do my Bible study with the group of ladies online. We are reading and studying through Mark right now and it has been so good. I’m learning so much as I slow down, reading and studying one chapter a week. So good!
Well, I rounded up a few things to share with you guys today. I’m really excited about the first one — a little project I started (like I need another one)! But I have been so blessed by my Bible study time, that I wanted to provide a resource for you to listen through the Bible each day — something that you can use in your own quiet time and Bible study. See all the details below.
I don’t say enough how grateful I am for each of you that take the time to read my mostly weekly newsletter. I pray that what I share will encourage you in your homemaking, and above all encourage you to seek hard after Jesus. He is our only hope. He is the only Way!
I am really excited to offer this resource to you! I’ve put together a Daily Audio Bible podcast to help you get in the Bible every day! Click on over to this section of my Substack site and read the Welcome post for all the details on how to subscribe!
Recently I came across this neat Bible called the Spiral Bible. It is the Word of God formatted into a spiral notebook type style with larger print and a notes section on each page! Right now they have limited Bible versions available, but I think they are trying to get permission to do more versions in the future. If you like to really dig in and study the Bible, take notes, journal, etc., then this Bible may be the thing for you!
I have a bunch of Oolong tea that I bought when the Trim Healthy Mama sisters came out with their Sipper drink recipes. Well, I have not fixed any for a long time. But this past week I ran across this recipe for how to make a concentrate in small jelly jars so it is easy and quick to make a quart of tea when you want. We’ve been so busy this past week that I haven’t had a chance to try it, but I am going to soon!
For some reason, we have continued to battle sickness in our home. It just keeps dragging on and on. Ugh! Well, I have been so thankful for this Good Night Lotion! It has not only helped me sleep better, but it has also helped my kids who are struggling with coughs and having a hard time falling asleep. I am so thankful for the Earthley products that I can feel good about using when we are sick!
In light of some current events going on in our world, our pastor and elders decided to do a mini series on Revival. The past two Sundays have been so good, taking a look at what revival is, when is revival needed, and what does revival look like — according to the Bible? You can listen to the whole series as they are added here. I highly recommend these!
If you are looking for a good drink to boost your immune system, this is it! Make up a batch of the dry mix and you’ll be ready to mix up a quart of Singing Canary anytime you want it.
Just a quick reminder that you can find all my weekly newsletters archived over on Substack here. Feel free to click on over and browse through past newsletters and posts. If your Inbox gets overloaded, you can always just go to my Substack page to find them.
Praying for each of you, that you are finding your rest, your hope, your strength, in Jesus alone!
Take care. Don't fear. Trust God!
