With Christmas falling next weekend, I decided to take a break next week and wish you all a Merry Christmas this week! I hate to admit, but we still have some shopping and baking to do before we are ready for Christmas. But that’s ok. I’m learning to slow down and enjoy these days and not stress. It’ll get done eventually, and what I really want to focus on anyway is simply spending time with family.
Time. That is one thing that we can never get back. I’ve been reflecting a lot on that lately. With my kids getting older, it is becoming more real to me how quickly time goes by. I am so thankful that I have been able to homeschool all these years. No I have not been the perfect homeschool mom (far from it!), but I have cherished simply the time that I have been able to be home with my kids.
In not too many more years, my homeschooling journey will be over. Hard to believe. But looking back I see how God used my little home business to bless our family with that bit of extra income that made it a lot easier for me to be home. I am so thankful for that opportunity and am excited to come alongside other moms who want to do the same thing. So many more resources are available today than when I started over 20 years ago, making it even easier to get started! If you are interested in learning more about starting a home business, go here, grab the freebie and get on my email list. I can’t wait to help you get started!
The first item below is a free gift from me — some 2024 monthly calendars! There are three different styles, so choose the one that you like the best! Enjoy! Also below are some links to great reading, a cinnamon roll recipe, and gifts your kids can make.
May each of you have a blessed Christmas! Remember that JESUS is the reason for the season. He is the reason we celebrate!
Praying for each of you, that you are finding your rest, your hope, your strength, in Jesus alone!
Take care. Don't fear. Trust God!
Blessings,
❤️Sheri

Last year me and the kids enjoyed reading Leslie’s Christmas story that she wrote and released a section of it each Friday after Thanksgiving up to Christmas. I am SO excited to announce details about the 2024 Bible Reading Challenge! Leslie has these challenges each year, along with a Facebook group that we use to share what we are learning.
