Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 9/12/20
Hello,
So much is happening in our world right now. I am sitting here in Kansas writing this newsletter as the rain continues to pour down for the 4th day in a row. All while many of my family members are being affected by the massive out of control fires burning in Oregon and praying for rain to come!
Fires, hurricanes, wind storms, rioting, looting, killing...makes you really wonder how close we are to the return of Jesus. Are you ready? If you don't know Jesus as your personal Savior, please email me so I can share how you can have a relationship with Jesus, who died for you so you can live forever with Him. Don't wait! Today is the day of salvation!
On a lighter note, I wanted to include this graphic in the newsletter today. When I saw this shared on social media I just laughed because this is SO me! I think I have said about every single one of these statements. I love books! My idea of a good time is snuggling up on the couch with a warm blanket and a good book, and maybe a cup of coffee or tea!
One thing that the Lord has shown me during these very stressful times, is that I need to make sure I take time to get refreshed - spend time in the Bible, praying, listening to worship music, and doing something that I love. Even if it is just for a little while, it has made a big difference. What about you? Do you need to set aside a little time each day to get renewed? If so, give it a try!
Before I move on to the links for this week, I want to encourage you to seriously spend time praying this week. Pray for the state of your own heart first (make sure you are right with God), then pray for your family, the leaders in our churches, the leaders of our country, for emergency personnel who are out fighting these fires and bringing justice to criminals. I can't help but believe that our country is at a tipping point. Will we humble ourselves before God, repent, and seek His will? Or will be continue on this path of complacency and indifference and give over our country to evil?
My prayer is that this is a wake up call -- not only to unbelievers to see their need for Jesus, but for the Church to get back to teaching and living truth based on the Bible. Oh how the Church has strayed and it breaks my heart. We have allowed the world to creep in. Please pray for revival across our country and around the world!

It is a spiritual battle against a force of evil that is trying to take down our country as we know it. This song, Let the Church Arise, has been on my mine through these days. Now more than ever, the true Church needs to arise, stand for truth and expose evil.
