A friend shared the above image on social media recently and I loved it so much. How often do we get so focused on the problems in front of us β how big and insurmountable they seem to be β and we neglect to focus on God and His power. I know I am majorly guilty! As we head into the elections in a week and a half, I encourage you to keep your focus on God. Seek Him. Obey Him. But donβt get caught up in looking at the massive evil and sin in this world β because we serve a God who is GREATER! Amen!
Our family is in the thick of planning the Community Thanksgiving Dinner that takes place in our area. Five or so churches come together to donate food and volunteers to serve on Thanksgiving Day. We usually serve over 1000 meals β some dine in, some carry out, and many meals are delivered. We deliver meals to all the local gas stations, police stations, motels, and a few of the lower income apartment buildings. Each meal that is delivered has a small card attached with the Gospel message. It is SO much work, but each year we hear how God used this ministry to bless people and minister to them. So we continue to be obedient as long as the Lord leads us to be involved.
Well, I better wrap this up. Below you will find some fun links, as well as more βHomemade for the Holidaysβ ideas. Have a blessed weekend β and remember β KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS!
I think I have shared this here before, but my favorite place to get essential oils, is Revive. Not only are their oils excellent quality, but the prices canβt be beat! I am getting ready to place another order soon. What do I use these oils for? Let me share a few things:
I love putting drops of Immunity Boost in the diffuser this time of year. It just smells like Christmas (cinnamon and clovesβ¦yum!). Not only does it makes the house smell wonderful, but the oils help boost our immune systems, which is a great thing this time of year.
I put a couple drops of Lemon in the dishwasher detergent dispenser when I use my homemade dishwasher detergent. It gives an extra boost for cleaning and makes the dishwasher smell good.
When we were sick with Covid, I used Peppermint and Eucalyptus mixed with a carrier oil and rubbed that on our chests and backs at night. It really helped us sleep better when we were suffering congestion and coughing.
I add Lemon and Tea Tree to some of my cleaning sprays to give an extra boost.
I use the Peppermint and Lavender, along with some other oils, in a roller bottle with a carrier oil to use when any of us have a headache. We roll it on the back of our necks and our temples.
I use the Lavender with some water in a spray bottle and spray to freshen bedding and pillows. This works great if you have kids who struggle falling asleep.
Those are just a few ways I use oils in our home. If you want to give Revive oils a try, you can click here to get $10 off your $50 purchase (new customers only).
I was going to share with you today about my favorite herbal vitamins I am taking, but then saw this free guide and thought it would be helpful too. Most of us probably admit that we are not getting enough vitamins. We experience things like fatigue, sleeplessness, headaches, acne, or digestion issues. These are all possible signs of deficiency and better nutrition is the first step towards improving your health and supporting your immune system! In this free digital guide from Earthley, youβll learn how to get better nutrition, all about the top vitamins and their benefits, easy ways to get more vitamins into your diet, and more!
I am so excited to let you know that The Daily Grace Co. now has available some of the Cultivate What Matters products in their shop! I love their "Write the Word" series and these would make such great gifts! They also have the popular Powersheets planners. Go check them out today!

Homemade for the Holidays #20: Crocheted Baby Blanket or Afghan - As I have said many times, I love to crochet, especially when it is small projects that donβt take too long to finish.
