Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 4/3/21

As I sit down this morning to write to you, I am overwhelmed with God’s love for me. His love is so great that He sent his one and only son to die for me. He took my place on that cross. And the best news of all is that my Savior, Jesus Christ, did not stay dead in that grave. He is risen! He lives today and sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. Someday He is coming back…I can’t wait! Are you ready? If you don’t know if you are ready, reply to this email. I’d be happy to share with you!

I have to be honest, though, that this has been a hard week. My emotions have been all over the place — from fear and uncertainty to joy and hope. It is a challenge to keep my focus on Jesus in these days where evil is becoming so prevalent and the distractions so great. It’s easy to become distracted with what the world is throwing at us, and fail to remember that He is the One we put our faith and trust in. He is the one who calls to us:

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Here in Kansas, we continue to battle for our freedoms. We still have a bill before the legislature that would prohibit employers from mandating vaccines for their employees, while also protecting the employers from any liability due to vaccine injury. (Most employers don’t realize that vaccine companies are not liable if any injuries or deaths happen as a result of the vaccines. If employers mandate a vaccine as a condition of employment, that would fall under their worker’s compensation insurance if there are injuries or deaths.)

We are also pushing for legislation that would ban any vaccine passport in our state. Each day I hear more stories, some that are close to me, of people being injured or dying as a result of the covid vaccines. Many don’t realize they are investigational vaccines that are not yet approved by the FDA. They are under Emergency Use Authorization only. Many believe they are “just another flu shot”, but they are not. If you want to learn more, feel free to join my free course over in my shop.

As we head into Resurrection Sunday tomorrow, I pray that each of you will take time to be still with the Lord. Allow Him to refresh you and get your heart and mind set on Him. We have so much to be thankful for, so much to look forward to, and we need to continue being obedient and doing the Father’s business.

I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today.
I know that He is living whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer.
And just the time I need Him, He’s always near.

He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today.
He walks with me, and talks with me, along life’s narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart.
You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my heart!

My Favorite Things

Recently I decided to try Earthley’s Exfoliating Cleanser. While I love the charcoal soap bar to wash my face, every once in a while I need something that exfoliates and cleans off all the dead skin. So when I saw that Earthley had something, I decided to give it a try. Wow! I am so glad I did. I LOVE this cleanser. Things I’m watching or listening to!

This is such a beautiful song, especially this weekend as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

For some reason, while I heard people talking about The Chosen series, I had never checked it out…until last night! My son ran across an episode playing on UpTV and we started watching. I was really impressed with the quality of the production and the integrity of staying as close to the Bible as possible. If you go to the website, you will find the ways that you can watch this series for free! They even have an app you can download on your phone to watch. The series is funded purely through donation, so if you are able, you can support the project that way. You can view all 8 episodes of Season 1 right now, and Season 2 will debut Sunday night.

Watch this Zoom call where doctors discuss back and forth what is going on with covid. This is what needs to be happening -- open discussion and debate. It isn't happening though. Those doctors who share from their experience, that go against the narrative, are being cancelled. Medical boards are going after them. Something is very wrong.
