Freedom! In a time when it seems like our God-given freedoms are being threatened, isn’t it encouraging to know that our true freedom is found in Christ? Our true freedom isn’t about this world at all. Our freedom is found in the saving grace of Jesus Christ!
My heart has been so heavy for Pastor James Coates, a pastor in Canada, who is currently in prison because he refused to close his church doors. They are keeping him in a medium security prison until his hearing (date not set yet). He can be released if he agrees to the condition of not having church. He refused so they are holding him. He has been in prison since Tuesday. You can watch a couple of video updates here and here. Pray for this Pastor and his wife and kids as they walk this difficult path. It is unbelievable that we are seeing this, and I fear it is only the start of what is to come unless God intervenes.
The health freedom group I am a part of here in Kansas has a couple of bills being presented in state senate committees. One of those bills is to prevent employers from discriminating based on vaccination status. In other words, make it illegal for an employer to mandate an employee get a vaccine. Pray for us as we head to the capitol next week for the hearing on this bill. Pray that the senators’ hearts would be open and they would see how medical interventions like this should not be mandated for employment.
Because of what is currently going on in our world, I have been covering what concerns me in my newsletters and in my social media. I have been attacked, called a conspiracy theorist, told I was a racist and extremist, that I was not being a good Christian, etc. But the Lord has given me boldness to continue to tell the truth as I know it. I don’t claim to know all the answers, but I want to share the facts with you to warn you, to encourage you to research yourself, and to not blindly believe everything you see or read on main stream media. There is so much that is not known about these COVID vaccines, for example, and the stories of injury and deaths keep coming in. Yes, the CDC claims there has been no deaths in connection with the vaccines. Something isn’t right. I truly believe we are in a huge spiritual battle. We are in a battle not only for our nation, but for our very souls. I pray that the Lord will continue to use me to spread truth and encourage others to cling onto Jesus during these days.
