Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 4/11/25
The weather is turning beautiful here in Kansas. These purple flowers have been blooming in our flowerbeds by the garage. They are so pretty! I can’t believe that it has been another couple weeks since I sat down to get a newsletter sent off. Life has been full.
I had planned on sending out a newsletter last weekend, but our refrigerator in the kitchen decided to stop working. Yeah. Thankfully we have another refrigerator in the basement that we moved things to, and a big upright freezer. So we only had to throw out a few things that were in the freezer that totally thawed out overnight. I am loving our new side-by-side refrigerator/freezer though!
Today I tried my hand at making homemade yogurt. I bought these little jars to use to put the yogurt in. They are so cute and are perfect single serving sizes. When the yogurt is done, we can easily add some Stevia to sweeten it up and some fruit, or stir in a little fruit jam. I used the directions that Amy gives in this Youtube video for making the yogurt (subscribe to her channel while you are there!). We’ll see how it turns out! It has a couple hours still to set and then they go in the refrigerator. I’ll update you later on how it goes!
We are busy finishing up our homeschool year. We probably have a few weeks left and then we will be done for the year. Our youngest daughter will graduate the first weekend in May, so we are also getting ready for that. Fun times!
Well, I better wrap up for now and let you get to the links below. Hope you find something you can use. Praying each of you have a blessed week!
Take care. Don't fear. Trust God!
Blessings,
❤️Sheri

I am really excited about this marketplace that just launched from Truly Free (formerly My Green Fills). A friend of mine shared about this in her newsletter and I knew I wanted to share it here too! For a limited time, Wardee of Traditional Cooking School, is offering this free book and workbook as a free download! Go here to grab your copy today!
I am a little late telling you all about this, but this free online homeschool summit has been going on all week. You can still get in on today’s sessions for free! Plus you can register for the free Q&A and Giveaway session next week where they will be giving away a TON of curriculum! Go here now to watch the key note session and today’s sessions for free. If you want, you can purchase an all-access pass for only $24 I believe. Enjoy!
Yes, I am going to start doing some strength training. One thing I have learned recently is that after 40 you start losing muscle and it is REALLY important to overall health to maintain your muscle. So…someone recommended this Youtube channel. I will be starting with the 20 minute beginner workouts. We’ll see how it goes. But I’ve GOT to start doing something! Care to join me?
I have the journaling Bible from Daily Grace and I love it. Now they just came out with a larger print version! Enjoy the single column format with a place to journal in the margins. This is a beautiful Bible! Go take a look!
Earthley has their Summer Essentials Bundle on sale for 20% off! Use code: SUMMERTIME at checkout to get the discount!
I wanted to share a link to the sermon our pastor preached this past Sunday. It was titled, “Pursue these relationship builders” from Ephesians 4:32. It was so good and convicting. I highly recommend giving it a listen if you can!
I thought I would share about one of Shannon Fox’s courses that has got me started on a journey of learning all about my hormones, how to eat for health, and what I need to be paying attention to as I grow older. I LOVE Shannon and highly recommend her courses. The Food Peace course is a good intro to get you started. Highly recommended!
I wanted to share again my personal experience using God’s Story for my daily Bible reading. I have the free Kindle version on my Kindle Scribe and I absolutely LOVE it! I am reading longer and reading more than I ever have, and I think it is because my eyes don’t get caught up in all the verse numbers and formatting. God’s Story is only marked by book and chapter, so you feel like you are reading a story — God’s Story! See below for details on how you can purchase softcover versions and Kindle versions, OR simply download the free digital versions to print or load on your devices. I can’t encourage you enough to get into God’s Word this year!
Click here to go to the book series page on Amazon! You will see links to each of the softcover volumes, as well as the link to the Kindle version of the complete book.
Click here to grab God's Story as a free EPUB or PDF file! I am so excited to see so many of you downloading the free version! I pray it is blessing you and encouraging you to be in the Word daily!
Happy reading!
