How do we know what is true anymore? Doesn’t everyone have their “own truth”? Does truth change?
These questions are being asked by many today. Do you know the answers?
As a Christian, everything is based on the Bible, and Jesus Christ, the Word in the flesh. Jesus IS truth, and Jesus doesn’t change. So in order to know what truth is, we must know the Jesus of the Bible. And in order to know what is false, we must know what truth is so we are not deceived.
We have all heard the illustration about how to spot counterfeit money — you spend a lot of time studying the real thing, so when you see a counterfeit you immediately know it is not real.
The same is true with truth, with the true Jesus, the true Gospel. You must spend time studying who Jesus is through His Word, the Bible.
I am in an online Bible study group on Facebook, and the lady leading the group challenged us to read through Philippians 2 this week and ask ourselves the question: “What do I learn about Jesus in this chapter?”
So I am passing that challenge on to you! Sit down this weekend and read through Philippians 2. Then make a list of all the things you learn about Jesus in the chapter. This is a part of what the Bible talks about in Ephesians 6 - putting on the armor or God. We are living in a time when the world (and even the “church”) is full of deception that sounds really good and almost like the truth. But is it?
I encourage you — get into your Bible. Read! Study! Pray! Read some more! Take notes! Pray! Read some more! I pray you will hunger for the truth that is ONLY found in the Bible, God’s Word — not in anyone or anything outside of that that the world tries to throw at us.
Praying for each of you as we head into the summer months. I am looking forward to being outside more, doing some projects around the house, and digging into God’s Word even more. Have a blessed weekend!
Take care. Don't fear. Trust God!
Blessings,
❤️Sheri

She has some really good scientific information on helping women who are 40+ learn how to eat to balance their hormones. The website has lots of great information and recipes, and she also has a podcast. Subscribe to Ruth’s newsletter, Health Rebel, to find out more!
I believe this promotion is for TODAY only, so if you want to grab some free ebooks, check this out today. They have the books organized by category to make it easy for you to go to the ones you are interested in. Enjoy!
Summer will be here soon! Check out this post and podcast that talks about how to set up a loop schedule for your summer activities. I love doing loop schedules! Go check it out!
This homemade chicken bouillon powder recipe has been so popular on my website. It’s something that is a staple in my kitchen and I use it in so many recipes. I have a friend whose husband has to be on a very low salt diet. She uses this recipe and doesn’t put any salt in it and she said it still works great. Go to this post where I share some different ways you can use this bouillon powder AND get the recipe for the powder too!
