❤ Finding Joy in Your Home, Another Bible Reading Plan, and Learning About Herbs
Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 1/9/22
Well, I’m late getting this weekend’s newsletter out to you. The weekend ended up being pretty busy and I just didn’t have time to sit down and finish it up and send it. This week’s post will be shorter than normal, but there were a few things that I wanted to get out to you. One is an online conference starting today that looks really good. Another is a Bible study/reading plan that may interest you.
I read Matthew 5 and 6 in my Bible reading this morning, and Matthew 6:34 really spoke to me this morning. It’s been a rough weekend — a couple of our local homeschool families are dealing with some difficult situations — one family lost a loved one this past week and in another family the father had a massive heart attack yesterday and is in critical condition. So many are suffering and grieving these days, that it can be overwhelming. I think that’s why this verse popped out at me this morning. As a Christian, I am so thankful that I have hope in Jesus. That this world is not my home. I don’t need to worry about what tomorrow may bring, but simply rest in my Savior, in Whom I can place my hope and trust.
Do you find yourself in a place of overwhelm? Where have you placed your hope and trust? Is it in Jesus? If not, I’d love to chat. Feel free to email me at: sheri@sherigraham.com.
Have a blessed week, and remember to keep your eyes on Jesus!
A friend shared about this upcoming online conference in an email and it looks really good. Finding Joy in Your Home Online Conference will start on Monday, 1/9/23, but if you purchase a ticket you will have access to the video presentations indefinitely. Go here to get your ticket today!
Here is another really neat Bible Reading Challenge! Leslie at Growing 4 Life has organized a year-long plan to study the Bible. It is not a “read through the whole Bible” plan, but she focuses on certain books of the Bible over a 1-2 month period. Go to her website here to read all about this challenge and download the schedule.
