Fear not! Be strong and courageous!
A friend of mine posted this image on social media this week and I absolutely loved it! We are living in a time when many have allowed fear to totally take over their lives, to the point where they are not even really living.
It seems those that are living in fear fall into one of these two camps:
We fear the virus so much, and fear dying, that we can’t even think logically to look at the facts. Because of that, we are quick to judge others, quick to believe everything at face value the media is telling us, and quick to criticize anyone who thinks otherwise.
We don’t fear the virus, but fear all the evil going on in our world. We fear those that desire to take over our country with a Marxist/socialist agenda. We fear the evil people who are doing evil things, such as all the rioting, looting, and trafficking.
But you know what? No matter what side of the “fear” you are living in, you can choose today to live in peace! You can choose to put your full trust and hope in God, knowing that He is in control.
That doesn’t mean we sit in our basements and do nothing. It means that as we put our trust and faith in God, we can face head on the tasks that God has given each of us to do. We can “live” our lives to the fullest, and not be cowering in worry and fear.
