Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 9/23/22
I am starting a study through Romans and one of the things they have us do is to memorize Romans 8. As I was reading this passage this morning, the above verses popped out at me. Are we not seeing many of these things happening in our world today? It is so comforting to know that NOTHING can separate me from God when I have placed my faith in Jesus Christ. While there is a lot to “worry” about, I know that I have to keep my focus on Jesus, on the promises of His Word, and rest in Him. How about you? Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone? We are plugging away at our homeschool. As always, we have days where we struggle to stay on task and keep attitudes in check. But overall the year is going pretty well. To update you on my fermenting adventure, the two jars of dill pickles were done fermenting and they went into the refrigerator this week. I still have two quarts of sauerkraut fermenting on the counter. They won’t be done for another couple weeks. I can’t wait to see how that turns out. Fermented vegetables are such a good way to add probiotics to your diet, and they taste so good you don’t even realize you are eating something that is so good for your gut health!

I wanted to share a fun thing we are doing as a family. With all that is going on in our world, it is so important to immerse ourselves in God’s word. So we decided to clean off a section of our big upright freezer in the kitchen and making a “verse wall”. I bought these 4”x6” dry erase magnets to put on the freezer.
Then I bought these fine tip dry erase markers for us to use to write out some of our favorite Bible verses on the magnets. The magnet set has 12 magnets, so we have plenty of room for each of us to write out one or two of our favorite Bible verses. I can’t wait to get started!
