π Easy Homemade Bread, Getting in the Word, My Rocketbook Planner, and FREE Online Spanish Lessons for Your Kids!
Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 1/20/23
The past several years have been something else, hasnβt it? I donβt remember any time in my lifetime where I have sensed such an uneasiness and an all out assault on our freedoms and our Godly beliefs. It has been hard. Really hard. But you know what? I am so thankful for going through the past several years because I have grown so much in the Lord.
I am learning to get into the Bible more, learning to stand up for truth, learning to fear God and not man, learning to hold onto the only thing that makes sense - Jesus.
As the days go by, I find myself slowly letting go of the things of this world and longing for Heaven. I find myself passionate about teaching my children from the Word, preparing them for the days ahead, and making sure their lives are built on a strong foundation - Jesus.
I want to encourage you to make time every day to get into your Bible. Read, study, pray, meditate on the Word. We are living in a day full of deception, even within the church. Many are being deceived and are falling away from the Truth. You wonβt know what is true unless you know your Bible. I urge you β start now, start TODAY!
Below I share how I am using my Multi-Subject Rocketbook Notebook, an easy bread recipe for beginners, and more.
May each of you have a blessed day!
I have been using the Everyday Planner by Rocketbook for the past several months and really like that I have the ability to write in my weekly schedule and then erase and start over without continually using up paper and notebooks. Well, a while back I bought the new Multi-Subject Notebook by Rocketbook. It is letter size, has a ton of pages, and 4 divider tabs that you can place wherever you want in the notebook. One thing I noticed with this notebook is that the paper feels less slick than the Everyday Planner. I actually liked the feel of the paper better and the Frixion pens that you use on these Rocketbook notebooks wrote better too. Come to find out, they were testing a new kind of paper when they came out with the Multi-Subject Notebook and I love it. I hope they end up converting all their other products over to this new paper.
Since I really liked this new notebook, I decided I wanted to try to convert my planner over to this notebook. I have a section in the front for my weekly spreads. I used a Sharpie marker to write the blue lines and words. It was a little scary because if I messed up, I wouldnβt be able to erase it. How this works is that everything written with the Sharpie will not erase when I go to clean off the page. This saves me some time so I donβt have to create a layout each week. I just did one page in this front section so I could see how I liked it. So far this week it has worked. If I like the layout, then I will go ahead and create a total of 4-6 pages of the weekly spread.
The next section will have pages for any lists I have β To Do Lists, Books to Read, Deep Cleaning Tasks, etc.
The next section will be for sermon notes. This coming Sunday will be the first time to take this notebook to church with me. I know I will love it, because I will have lots of room to write and the pen writes well on the paper.
Then I have a section where I am copying down books of the Bible. I started writing out Galatians. Once I get the whole book done, I will scan it all in to create one PDF file of the book of Galatians and save it to my computer. Then I can erase the pages and start copying a new book!
The last section will be for any other miscellaneous notes. I may use it for my Bible study notes as I go through the Bible Reading Challenge with Leslie that I mention below. Weβll see.

Have you tried to make homemade bread before? If not, then I have a really easy recipe for you to try! You can make loaves of bread, rolls, or hot pockets with this recipe. Give it a try!
The Lord is really using Leslie from Growing4Life to encourage me and spur me on toward more serious Bible study. Leslie is a homeschool mom who loves the Lord and loves to write. Her main focus is on standing strong on the Truth in Godβs Word. But we wonβt know what Truth is unless we know Godβs Word! We are living in days full of deception and it has never been more important to be in the Bible, prayerfully studying and learning. I started Leslieβs 2023 Bible Reading Challenge this week. It will be so good to slow down a bit and dig deep into specific books of the Bible β reading, re-reading, meditating, reading commentaries, praying, reading again. I highly recommend Leslieβs blog! She humbly shares what God is doing in her life and what she sees going on in our world today from a Biblical perspective.
Our house has been hit this winter with tons of sinus junk. Drainage that wonβt go away, coughs that hang on, etc. While we already are taking Elderberry, Feel Better Fast, and Cough B Gone, it wasnβt seeming to touch the sinus pressure and headaches. So when I heard that Sinus Saver was not only good for allergies, but for when you have sinus pressure and headaches, I immediately ordered some. It came in the mail today and I took a dose, along with a couple others in the family. I canβt wait to see if it helps. Others have shared that it really helps with the nasty sinus pressure, so I am hopeful! Iβll share later how it goes.
