Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 2/13/21
What a week it has been! It has been so awesome to see the Lord working in my life, teaching me how to praise Him even in the midst of so much uncertainty, evil, and corruption. How can I have so much praise and worship bubbling up in my heart for the Lord? It is because I have my hope in Jesus and Him alone.
In our homeschool, we have been continuing our studies of the U.S. government, our founding fathers, what the Bible says about government, and much more. I am even reading through shortened summaries of some of the Federalist Papers. I hear them referred to often, but have never read them. We are all learning so much!
I have also been trying to get back on track with eating healthier. Back about 8 years ago, I lost almost 30 pounds using the Trim Healthy Mama concepts. Since that time, my body has gone through changes (menopause), my metabolism has tanked, and unfortunately have put all that weight back on. Ugh! Plus this past year hasn’t helped because I have spent a lot of time on the computer writing letters to legislators, researching covid related stuff, and fighting for our freedoms. So I am trying to get back on track using the THM concepts, baby step by baby step.
One other confession — we still have our Christmas tree up. Yikes! I think Valentine’s Day was the latest I had our tree up and that was way back when we were first married. With the cold weather and snow coming this weekend, it will be a good time to get it done! I did take in the decorations and lights off our front porch yesterday, so that is a start!
I enjoyed recording another podcast for you this week (link below). The Psalms have been such a source of encouragement to me and I pray that you are encouraged as well.

“Absolute Proof” Documentary by Mike Lindell - Please watch this brand new documentary that was put together by Mike Lindell and Brannon Howse. This is not about Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal. This is about corruption at the deepest levels and an all out attack on our country from other countries. It was released about a week ago and since then Mike Lindell and all involved have been attacked and vilified. If this is not exposed and addressed, we will never have a free and fair election again here in the U.S. This is that important.
Easy Crockpot Chili - I don’t know what the temps are in your neck of the woods, but here in Kansas it is going to be VERY cold this weekend with the possibility of a bunch of snow. Get a pot of chili going in the crockpot and enjoy a warm, yummy meal! Pair that with some cornbread (I sub gluten-free flour and it works great) for a perfect winter meal!
