Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 4/5/24
I want to start this issue of my newsletter with a quote from a post I wrote years ago:
God calls me to be faithful, and yet so many times I neglect to be faithful because I want to be successful. I think that things or situations have to be “perfect” in order to proceed, instead of just being faithful to do what God calls me to do.
This was something I struggled with years ago, and unfortunately something I still struggle with today. I don’t know about you, but I have been feeling a sense of urgency, an urgency to live life to the fullest, to not wait to do things I need to be doing, or to say things I need to say. How many times do I neglect to do something because the circumstances aren’t “perfect”. You can read my full post here.
Last night my grandma passed from this life, into the arms of Jesus. She was 101 years old. She had lived a good life and now is rejoicing in Heaven with my grandpa and Jesus. It brought it to my mind again how short life is. Are we living it to the full? Are we being faithful?
Before I close and let you browse through the stuff below, I want to share this beautiful song…God is so faithful and so good!
Take care. Don't fear. Trust God!
Blessings,
❤️Sheri

I thought I would give a quick update on how I am now keeping track of my calendar. It was probably 6 months ago that I moved my whole calendar over to Workflowy. I gave it a good try, but I found that I struggled with items that were recurring — somehow some of them would get deleted and then they weren’t there when they needed to be. Plus I got tired of always moving my recurring tasks again and again to the next date. So…here is what I am doing now.
I am using Proton Calendar to put all appointments, to do’s and recurring items in. Now I can set it and forget it with all my recurring items, and I know I won’t lose anything.
But I am not leaving Workflowy altogether! I am still using it for my daily and weekly to do list.
Each Saturday I open up my Proton Calendar and fill in everything that is going on for the upcoming week under each day. Then every evening during the week, I move the next day’s items up to the daily time slots where it goes. During the day, as items are completed, I just delete them. I can access my Workflowy lists for the day on my phone so it is easy for me to see what I need to get done no matter where I am.
What system do you have in place for a family calendar?
Since I talked about my calendar, I thought I would share this post which shows how you can use an online calendar to set up your cleaning schedule! In this post I am using Google Calendar, but you can use the Proton Calendar, or any other online calendar as long as it has the ability to do recurring posts. Enjoy!
If you are looking for a small crochet project, you might enjoy making these coasters. I included the pattern in the post here!
I briefly want to share about this new business venture here with you, but if you want to know more be sure to join my Work from Home Band group!
I put together this free guide where you can learn more about this business. The guide gives some highlights and gives a basic overview of the business.
Besides the income opportunity, I am anxious to try some of the products. They have a collagen product that looks amazing, and a magnesium/zinc/D3/selenium product that looks good too. Plus, they will soon be coming out with a greens powder.
Another benefit they just added is a rewards program! When you become a paid affiliate, you will get the chance to add on the rewards program for a small monthly fee. The rewards program gives you access to discounts at thousands of places that you normally shop.
I will be sharing more about this in my Work from Home private Band group. Head on over and join our group to learn more!
