❄️ Christmas Traditions, Loving my Bible App, Detox Your Laundry Room in the New Year, and a Great Book to Read!
Intentional Inspirations Newsletter - 12/16/22
We decorated the inside of our home a couple weeks ago, but finally got the porch decorated this week. I love the lights — so cheerful and bright. It reminds me that Jesus is the Light that shines in this dark world.
Every year when we decorate our home for Christmas, we have a “snacky” dinner with some special foods we only have this time of year. This is just one of the “traditions” that we enjoy every Christmas season.
Our family is getting ready to head out to basketball games out of town, so I will have to keep this short. But I want to encourage you in these days that seem so dark, that we serve a Savior that is the Light of the World! We have so much to have hope in and be thankful for. Be sure to take time this week to set at Jesus’ feet, soak in His Word, and allow Him to fill you with His love, joy, and peace.
Jesus is truly the reason for this season of celebration. Make those memories with your family, but better yet, encourage one another to draw closer to Jesus!
I have really been enjoying the Olive Tree Bible App. I found out that you can attach Notes to specific Bible verses or passages. As I thought about this, I realized that it would be amazing to take Notes and be able to read them later when I read those verses again. But my reservation was that I wanted to make sure that if I went to the work of putting notes into the Bible app, that I would somehow be able to save them so I could have a backup and also be able to print them. Guess what? The Olive Tree App has an easy way to export all my highlights and notes into a spreadsheet document! Yeah! I’m still thinking through this and figuring out how I want to use this feature, but I’m excited to give it a try!

Usually as our homeschool winds down this time of year, I like to spend some extra time to rest and find a good book to read. I just finished this one and it was so good! Not only was it a good clean book, but the main characters are Christians. The book has lots of great spiritual lessons too.
If you are looking to use more non-toxic laundry detergents, you should give Truly Free a try! Right now they are offering this bundle for only $49, and it includes the Laundry Wash free.
