A quick hello! Happy 1st day of Spring!

I did not have time to write out a whole newsletter today. This week has been full, but I still wanted to get a quick note out to you. Today is the first day of Spring — yeah! I am so ready for the warmer weather, getting into my flowerbeds, and enjoying the sunshine. I took my youngest son fishing yesterday. He had a blast! It felt so good to get out of the house, get some sunshine on my face, and enjoy some alone time with my son.

Part of the reason I did not get a newsletter written, or a podcast recorded this week, is that I am working on an urgent project that I want to get out to you asap. I was hoping to get it done yesterday, but my day got too full and I ran out of time. My plan is to work on it Tuesday and hopefully get it all done. If I do, I will send out another post with all the details! [Hint — this is about getting information out to you about COVID-19, the COVID-19 vaccines, about vaccine laws, and how Christians should respond. Pray for me as I prepare this, that the Lord would give me wisdom and discernment.]

Monday I will be traveling to our state capitol to attend a hearing on a bill that Kansans for Health Freedom worked on that would prohibit our State Secretary of Health from adding any new vaccines to the mandated childhood schedule without oversight from the legislature. With the big push for the COVID-19 vaccines, we got wind that our state health agency has plans to mandate it for children. They also have plans to mandate the HPV (Gardasil) vaccine. So we are trying to get ahead of the game and at least require that any new vaccine has to be approved by a vote of the legislature.

Lots going on. God is in control, and each day I am learning to more fully lean on Him!
