Hello! Long time no talk! We are winding down our homeschool year and I am starting to feel like I can make some progress in some areas that have taken a back burner. One of those things is this newsletter!
The above picture was taken at a homeschool picnic recently. You will see the storm clouds in the background. This was the storm that created a tornado in a town near Wichita. We actually saw the tornado from a distance that night. Because it was so windy, rainy, and hailing, some of us had to stay at the church where we had the picnic until the storm passed. The kids had fun of course and it gave some of the moms more time to talk.
Something that the Lord has been showing me recently is how much we need each other. I tend to try to do everything myself, not ask for help, etc., and as we have become more involved with the local homeschool group, I am seeing how much I needed the friendship, fellowship, and accountability.
I have been busy at work giving my website a little update! My poor blog has been sorely neglected the past couple of years and I decided it was time I gave it some love! Hop on over and take a look and let me know what you think.
I am excited to start posting some new content again on the blog. I will always let you know of any new blog posts right here in this newsletter, so watch for some new posts soon!
Below I share some resources that will hopefully help you make your summer more intentional. I am always so ready for a break for the summer that I tend to fritter my days away and not get much accomplished — including some much needed REST!
I hope you find something useful to add to your summer days!

One last thing before I close this newsletter — I added another book to my study of Revelation. Revealing Revelation is written by Amir Tsarfati, a Christian Jew. I am continuing to work my way through Revelation — reading the chapters in the Bible, reading some books to go along with the chapters, and also listening to a sermon series. I’m learning so much!
I will close for now, but I am really excited to start writing on the blog again. Watch for some new posts soon as I have lots of ideas to write on, including sharing a new favorite tool I am using to keep me organized. Yep, you’ll have to wait to see what that is in my blog post coming soon!
Remember, I am using Substack to send out my weekly (yes, I am going to get back at it) newsletter. The reason I am using Substack is so that all my newsletters will be kept in an archive on my Substack site. That way you can go to my Substack anytime to read through the current or past newsletters! You won’t have to worry about it being lost in your Inbox, or accidently deleting it. The Intentional Inspirations Newsletter will always be there, ready for you to come back to.
Have a blessed day,
Sheri
Looking forward to checking out the podcast!
