📖 Free Bible Reading Printable!
As I was reflecting on this new year and what areas of my life I wanted to focus on, Bible reading was one of them. Actually, I am finding that this area of my life is the most important, especially right now. When we don’t know any more what is true and what is not true and who or what to believe, we have a place we can turn to for Truth — the Bible!
This free printable is a simple one-page sheet you can use to track what you have read in the Bible. I have used reading plans and different journals and Bible reading materials over the years. But with everything going on in our country right now, I wanted something that gave me the freedom to jump around and read where I felt the Lord drawing me to read.
There are times when I just want to read the Psalms, other times I want to dig into one of Paul’s epistles, and other times I want to read through the lives of those in the Old Testament and learn from them.
This handy little printable will allow you to mark off chapters that you read, allowing you to read the Scripture the Lord draws you to, and still keep track of what you have read in your attempt to read through the whole Bible.

Fold it and keep it in your Bible. Use a highlighter or pen to mark the chapters as you read them. Don’t let a Bible reading “plan” make you feel defeated when you get behind. Read one chapter or ten chapters, and mark them off. Allow the Lord to guide you to what He wants you to read and focus on.
Jesus is our only source of hope and strength during these trying days.
Update on my life:
You probably noticed I did not get a newsletter out to you this past weekend. Last Friday I had to get up really early to take my Dad in to have a heart cath. He had been feeling more tired than normal and had some shortness of breath. Otherwise, my dad is very health — on no meds, not overweight, eats healthy, etc. Well, we were shocked to find out my Dad had 90% blockage in three arteries. So I will be driving my Dad and Mom in to the appointment this coming Friday to have two stints put in. Two weeks later they will do the other stint. So due to helping my parents do some things and car shopping this past weekend, I didn’t get much else done.
If you know me, it bothers me when I don’t keep my commitments and sending out my weekly newsletter to you has been something I have done faithfully every week for quite a few years now — hardly ever missing a week! So I am sorry that I have missed some weeks here, but know that my family is my priority right now. I will do my best but can’t promise how consistent I will be over the next few weeks as I help my parents through this time.
I pray that I can get back to more consistency in the weeks ahead. I don’t know about you, but we are living in a time that I need more encouragement and support from the body of Christ. We need each other. We need the Lord above all. So I will leave you with an encouragement to get into the Bible. Use the chart I shared here and start reading and soaking in God’s word for you! God bless you!
